Bear Lake County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, confirm a release, pull an official booking record or photograph, post bond, or change a court or jail file. The originating agency, receiving facility, court, or corrections department must answer those questions directly.

Which Office Holds the Record?

Start with the agency that made the arrest, then identify the facility that completed intake. The following contacts reflect the Bear Lake systems documented in the county and agency sources.

Bear Lake County Sheriff's Office

County arrest and public-records lead:
Bear Lake County Sheriff's Office
Sheriff Bart Heslington
30 North Main Street
P.O. Box 365
Paris, ID 83261
208-945-2121
Office hours: 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday

For an arrest outside Montpelier, begin with BLCSO. The office does not publish a separate records-unit phone number. Use the official records-request page and its public-records form for an incident, jail, media, 911, or other request. Do not use 911 for a records question. For an emergency, call 911.

Caribou County Jail

Current custody lead when BLCSO confirms Caribou placement:
Caribou County Jail
475 East 2nd South
Soda Springs, ID 83276
Booking desk: 208-547-3094
Main office: 208-547-2561

The Caribou detention page is the strongest current facility lead found for Bear Lake contract custody. Verify each arrest before relying on it, because historical county material also describes limited Montpelier capacity and Bannock overflow. Caribou's reviewed page does not provide a public Bear Lake roster or photo search. If Caribou created the booking file, use its public-records request path.

Montpelier Police Department

City-limit arrest and incident records:
Montpelier Police Department
830 Washington Street
Montpelier, ID
Main line: 208-847-1324
Police records: 208-847-0824, extension 103
Dispatch: 208-945-2121

For an arrest inside Montpelier, call MPD and use its public-records form for the incident record. The MPD site directs callers outside city limits to BLCSO. Ask MPD which facility holds the intake record or photograph, because the arresting agency and the receiving jail may be different custodians.

For custody notifications, the county-linked VINE site 13000 can provide status and release or transfer alerts when a participating facility has entered the person. VINE is not a booking-photo source. Its listed phone is 1-866-984-6343, with TTY at 1-866-847-1298.
